The fourth quarterfinal of the Pac-12 Tournament features Utah and UCLA in women’s college basketball today.

The final quarterfinal of the day in women’s college basketball will allow either 22nd-ranked Utah (22-9) or seventh-ranked UCLA (24-5) to advance to the semifinals. The Utes advanced in the first round of the tournament to build momentum heading into the third game of the season between them and the Bruins this season. The teams split the first two games in the regular season with the Utes winning the first 94-81 in overtime and the Bruins winning the second game 82-52. This serves as the rubber match between the teams and a chance to play for the Pac-12 Championship this season.

The winner of this game advances on to play the winner of USC and Arizona who played earlier today in the third semifinal of the Pac-12 Tournament. 

In the first game between the teams the Utes won with five players scoring in double-figures led by Kennady McQueen with 21 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Alissa Pili struggled from the field shooting just 4-15 overall to finish with 16 points and six rebounds in the overtime win.

The Bruins bounced back with a dominating win over the Utes in the second game late in the season. Four Bruins scored in double-figures led by Londynn Jones with 23 points shooting 7-10 from three. In the win the Bruins jumped out to a 25-15 early lead, then won every quarter in their most lopsided win of the regular season over a conference opponent and a ranked team.
